You’ve been there….?? Sick….??? And you’ve been prayed for over and over and over and over, but it seems like everyone but you get to participate in the healing…! Sucks…. Right…??

Now, let’s assume, as I believe, that the vast majority of illness comes from Satan…. Then what happens when you pray for a Christian…???
Well – I think that the devil will hang on a lot harder with illness in a Christian and not just disappear immediately… because that way he can achieve two things:

1. The one being prayed for who doesn’t get well will immediately turn it inward (I guess I’m not good enough) or turn it into anger against God (It is not fair that He is making me sick).
2. The one praying for the sick may think: It’s not like anything happens when I pray, so I might as well not. I have not received the full spiritual gift of healing.

Satan is and always will be a liar – and he is and always will be the father of all lies…!!!

1. Healing is for EVERYONE, because one of the things Jesus covered on the cross was ILLNESS. It is ALSO for YOU…!!! Turning “lack of healing” toward yourself or toward God shows a lack of understanding of the fact that we are in a spiritual battle. Remember to turn your guns on Satan – and neither on yourself or on God. Jesus HAS liberated you 2000 years ago… NEVER GIVE UP… don’t be disappointed if nothing happens right now, but aim your anger toward the devil and be persistent in seeking in intercessory prayer…!!!
2. NEVER stop praying for others who are sick… And yes, sometimes you have to pray for a longer time – and other times, you don’t feel that there is a breakthrough – but I can only encourage you to STAND ON THE PROMISES in God’s word – not on bad experiences. Yes, I have seen hundreds of people who were never healed… but I think I may have seen thousands of people who WERE healed. If I had stopped praying for people when nothing was happening, I would not have understood God’s promises to me or the authority and identity He has given me (and other Christians).

This Tuesday, Birte and I prayed for a woman who spent MANY years unable to walk properly because of a spinal cord injury. She had been prayed for MANY times (by us as well), but she didn’t give up. Because she was aware that God’s promises were/are for her as well…. So we prayed again… and slowly she was able to spread her legs more and more – until finally she could take normal steps again, where earlier she could only take tiny steps…. Subsequently, we received this report from her, which I want to share with you…. She writes:

Thank you so much for today and for praying for me. I am very, very happy.
Something has definitely happened to my legs. I just went for a walk down the road, and my hips moved more than they usually do. More freedom in my legs. An amazing feeling. I am so grateful.
May God bless you and surround you with his protection.

NEVER GIVE UP…! READ THE BIBLE…! CLING TO THE PROMISES IN THE BIBLE AND DON’T EVER GO BY BAD EXPERIENCES, WHEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT GOD’S KINGDOM AND HIS PROMISES…!!!
